Planned Giving
Planned gifts include gifts through a will, life income gifts, charitable gift annuities, life insurance, charitable trusts, etc. We urge you to consult with your attorney or professional tax advisor about the possible benefits of making a planned gift to Gwen’s Girls. This foresighted generosity saves you in taxes, gives you peace of mind and gives girls a future.
Educational Improvement Tax Credits
Businesses can make contributions for Educational Improvement Tax Credits from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If your company/business utilizes such tax credits, please consider making Gwen’s Girls the beneficiary.
Our Workforce Readiness program has been determined to be an “innovative educational program” by the Department of Community and Economic Development and the Pittsburgh Public Schools. This educational program is not a part of the regular academic curriculum, but it serves as a tremendous enhancement.
The manner in which job shadowing and gender-based programming motivates and assists students in reaching their goals is of deep interest to the Pittsburgh Public Schools, and together we are working to enhance learning outcomes for the students we serve.
We are deeply grateful to Duquesne Light; First Commonwealth Bank; Hefren Tillotson, Inc.; Highmark; Northwest Savings Bank; and UPMC Health Plan for their generous EITC contributions.
