Gwen’s Girls Program Offerings
At Gwen’s Girls, we offer a safe space where girls and young women can form relationships, build self-esteem and gain resiliency.
School & Community Services
Gwen’s Girls offers School-Based and Community-Based Services, utilizing research-based curriculum to provide a prevention education that can be tailored to specific age groups and settings.
Stem Initiative
The goal of the Gwen’s Girls STEM Initiative is to promote interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by exposing Gwen’s Girls participants to captivating experiences and opportunities.
Mental Health Services
At Gwen’s Girls, mental health services are a vital, integral part of our programming.
Therefore, we developed Clinical Services to provide a mental health component and offer counseling and therapy to individuals, families and groups.
After School & Summer Programs
In addition to the individual services we offer our girls, our After School Program and Summer Program incorporates a group approach. Groups are important and influential factors in young girls’ lives.
Career & Workforce Readiness
Gwen’s Girls knows that education is critical for self-sufficiency. We offer opportunities to learn a general knowledge of careers and occupations through job shadowing and more.
Tutoring
Gwen’s Girls is excited to continue to offer our Academic Success Initiative (ASI) virtual tutoring services for the upcoming 2021-22 school year. ASI tutoring is a free service offered to boys and girls who are students in the Pittsburgh area in grades K-12.
