A balanced world is a better world. How can you help forge a more gender-balanced world?
That’s the question being asked this International Women’s Day, which has a theme all about balance. Here at Gwen’s Girls, we try to answer that question through our holistic, gender-specific programs, education and experiences. Whether it’s through our out-of-school time programs, our group home or workforce and job readiness training, we empower young girls and women to raise their voices and raise the expectations society sets. Through the Black Girls Equity Alliance (BGEA), we are addressing the systemic inequities that impact and limit our girls.
But we can’t do this work alone! You can partner with us by donating your time, talent or money.
Together, we can go further faster and accelerate gender balance! Your donation helps our girls grow and thrive in and out of school. Just recently we celebrated many of our girls making the honor roll.
Your donation helps ensure that our girls will grow up to make a difference and make history in our community, like the Pittsburgh women we are shining the spotlight on each day throughout Women’s History Month.
