Over the past year:
- Fifteen girls successfully completed the inaugural Black Girls Advocacy and Leadership Alliance (BGALA) cohort;
- More than 20 partners committed to continued engagement in the Black Girls Equity Alliance (BGEA); and
- One hundred girls and families living in neighborhoods with high rates of poverty, crime and violence received high quality, gender-responsive programming daily.
For the past 17 years, Gwen’s Girls has served more than 5,000 girls through our after-school, school-based and community-based programs and services.
